A production company founded in 2001 by Nicolas Schmerkin aimed at supporting projects that are artistically innovative, utilizing new technologies and developing original graphic worlds with solid content.
Hybridization-relating to techniques, media, and film genres-is at the heart of the artistic approach of the majority of works produced by the company.

Since 2004, Autour de Minuit has branched into the international distribution of animated films and digital experimental works, offering a catalogue of around 200 films.

Short film distribution:

Maximum runtime: No restrictions, preferably under 20' (interested also in Youth TV Specials of 26')

Genres: Animation, experimental animated films, hybrid (combination of techniques) - special animation for youth people

Version: Original version with French or English subtitles. Preference: without dialogue

Term of contract: 2 years exclusive

Distribution territories: Worldwide

Distribution platforms: TV, theatrical, non-linear, DVD, institutions

Commission: 30%

Presence at festivals & markets: Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy, Cannes

The company acquires distribution rights for an average of five films per year (50 % French films)
