The Dutch director Rosto has just passed away. To pay tribute to this major figure of the independent animation scene, many of whose films were co-produced by Autour de Minuit, UniFrance offers you the chance to watch Splintertime.
The Dutch short filmmaker Rosto died Thursday, March 7, at the age of fifty. A member of the group Thee Wreckers, he leaves behind him a highly original oeuvre of films that have been presented at many film festivals and have won numerous awards across the globe.
As his latest film Reruns continues its remarkable international career that began a year ago, UniFrance is now giving viewers the opportunity to discover, or rediscover, his previous film, Splintertime. This film is emblematic of Rosto's unique aesthetic style and his great love of music.
