Biography

After drama studies at the Ecole Supérieure d’art Dramatique of Geneva, Bruno Todeschini enters in 1986 the Théâtre des Amandiers in Nanterre (next to Paris) animated by French director Patrice Chéreau and Pierre Romans. In 1987, he makes his debuts in Hotel de France by Patrice Chéreau. The actor and the director will work again together in different movies like Queen Margot, Those Who Love Me will Take the Train or His Brother for which he wins a nomination for Best Actor at the Cesar Awards.
But Todeschini also performed with independent directors from various artistic universes such as Arnaud Desplechin, Pascale Ferran, Jacques Rivette, André Téchiné or Michael Haneke. He also made some apparitions in a more commercial cinema : Fanfan, The Libertine, Spy Bound.
Faithfull to the young independent cinema, he performed in 2005 in Only the Night (Xavier Giannoli) and Nice Girl (Sophie Fillières).
