Two years after winning the Golden Bear for "Intimacy," Patrice Chéreau has just picked up the Silver Bear for Best Director for his film "Son Frère" ("His Brother").
Last Saturday evening, the 53rd Berlin International Film Festival honored Patrice Chéreau with a new award. His new opus, "Son Frère" ("His Brother"), featuring Bruno Todeschini and Eric Caravaca, charmed the Jury presided by Atom Egoyan, earning it the Silver Bear. The film was produced by Azor Films for Arte, with international sales handled by Flach Pyramide International.
A reminder that Patrice Chéreau will be President of the Jury at the 56th Cannes International Film Festival.
Finally, "Le Trop Petit Prince" by Zoïa Trofimova, in competition in the Children's Films Section, cut a dash by picking up the Special Prize for Best Short Film as well as the Crystal Bear for Best Short Film.
