Helena is one of the great hopes in the world of tango. She is deeply, passionately in love. When she successfully passes an audition with her group for a residency in prestigious Buenos Aires theater, her career seems to take off. But drama strikes: the man she loves no longer loves her. For Helena who lives and sings for Love, it is the end of the road.
Obsessed and tortured by this loss, Helena is incapable of mending her broken heart and becomes the shadow of herself. But what would happen if she went away to begin anew again somewhere else? What would occur if she left her suffering behind her and set out on a new life in another country? Perhaps she would then be able to let go her pain to, slowly, learn to live and love.
