After many drama classes and the Brussels School of Circus, Jérémie Renier begins his career on the Belgium TV and on stage.
In 1995, the French and Belgium critics first noticed him in La Promesse by Jean-Pierre & Luc Dardenne.
In 1999, he works with François Ozon in the sulphurous Criminal Lovers co-starring his compatriot Natacha Régnier.
He links up with the historic drama The King’s Daughters by Patricia Mazuy (2000) and Brotherhood of the Wolves an adventure film by Christophe Gans (2001).
Jérémie Renier pursues a successful career with a wide range of roles from the disturbed teenager in Pretend I'm Not Here by Olivier Dahan or The Pornographer by Bertrand Bonello to the young enigmatic man in On the Edge by Lionel Epp.
In 2004, he is a human resources consultant eaten up with doubts in Work Hard, Play Hard by Jean-Marc Moutout.
