Synopsis
While terrorist threats weigh heavily on world leaders’ minds, Captain San-Antonio and his sidekick Lieutenant Bérurier are given the task of keeping watch over the French ambassador while he’s staying at a British palace.
Bérurier, who prefers to party, slips up and the ambassador is kidnapped. San-Antonio then becomes embroiled with the disturbingly attractive Italian woman who engineered the kidnapping.
Once back in Paris, San-Antonio is dismissed by Achilles, the head of police. This outcome is highly advantageous to Bérurier, who goes up in rank.
Things deteriorate: the President of the Republic mysteriously disappears. The Minister of the Interior loses no time: only San-Antonio can save France. He and a secret brigade of men have got 48 hours to find the French Head of State. San-Antonio finds Bérurier at the Elysée Palace, already in charge of the official investigation.
From then on, it’s each man for himself: which of the two will be the first to find the President?
Clues mount up and evidence leads to terrorist organizations, unscrupulous banks, international traffickers, politicians with dubious pasts, femmes fatales capable of delivering quite convincing arguments…
At last San-Antonio, the highly popular character from French literature, is now on screen!
