Synopsis
In Paris, thirty-year-old Gabriel raises his daughter Juliette single-handedly. A former cop who has been put out to pasture after a personal drama, he finds it hard making ends meet. One day, an old acquaintance offers him a well-paid job. If he accepts, Gabriel must deliver suitcases around the world for anonymous "partners". The contract terms are clear: he must never ask any questions about the contents of the suitcases and must never try to open them.
Intrigued and convinced that this job will enable him to overcome his current financial problems, Gabriel sets off on the adventure. From Istanbul to Bruges, and passing through China, he hops from private plane to private plane with his mysterious load. Money soon flows in. It's true that Gabriel is now a man in a hurry, but he's rich. Even though his daughter complains that she no longer sees her father, who is now away all the time, Gabriel can't stop a machine that suffocates him more and more each day.
