Synopsis
In 1973, the oil crisis marked the end of the Trente Glorieuses (the thirty glorious years of economic growth in France). Fortunately, France may not have oil, but it has ideas. A Belgian aristocrat and an obscure Italian scientist managed to convince the powerful Elf Aquitaine group of the existence of a revolutionary process for detecting oil from the air.
