Synopsis
At the dawn of the thirteenth century in Italy, the simple and fraternal life of Francis of Assisi amongst the most impoverished fascinates and troubles the powerful Church. Surrounding by his brother monks, borne along by intense faith, he struggles to impose his vision of a world of peace and equality.
