Biography

Jean Dujardin begins his career in performing in cabarets. He becomes famous playing Loulou in the TV series Un gars, une fille, alongside Alexandra Lamy, broadcasted every evening between 1999 and 2003. His crazy performance in If I Were a Rich Man by Michel Munz in 2002, offers him more important roles, especially in Girl Rule by Pascale Pouzadoux the same year or in Le Convoyeur by Nicolas Boukhrief in 2003. The success of Marriages! By Valérie Guignabodet allows him to transpose on screen the character he had invented on stage at the beginning of his career, The Briceman a disabused surfer, huge success in France that scored more than four millions admittances.
In 2005, he stars opposing Gérard Jugnot in Never Say Never by Eric Civanyan.
