Biography

After a first appearance in screen at the age of nine in L’Adolescente by Jeanne Moreau, Aure Atika goes back to school before getting a main part in Enough for Me by Virginie Thévenet in 1992.
Her career takes off in 1997 with Would I Lie to You? by Thomas Gilou and Aure Atika first turns toward comedy (Grève party by Fabien Onteniente or Bimboland by Ariel Zeitoun).
In 2003, she directs her first short film A quoi ça sert de voter écolo ?.
Her preference now turning toward arthouse cinema, she stars in Tenja by Hassan Legzouli in 2004 and The Beat That My Heart Skipped by Jacques Audiard in 2005.
