A small, wind-swept coastal town. Sent to the town to get a supermarket's computer system running, Franck Meyer, a technician temporarily employed and in a mess, soon understands that the store's manager is embezzling money from the tills. It's not low season for every one. Casual by birth, but curious by nature, Franck observes, hesitates, lets dubious propositions, threats, and dreams of the future come his way. Because, from Frédérique, the pretty manager of the deserted hotel, to the smalltime local thugs, everyone seems to expect something of him.
