Synopsis
Linz, June, 1901. In this town of Austria where he practices as a surgeon, Rosenthal saves a little boy from an almost certain death, against the will of the head of the clinic. How would he have been able to envisage the consequences of his humanitarian act? And if he had known, would he have done it? Would he have questioned the Hippocratic oath?
