107 French actors and directors were present to take part in interviews with 120 journalists from 30 countries (from Europe and Canada) with the aim of promoting French films slated for release early in the year. Three press conferences and 600 individual interviews were held over the four-day event.
The following directors took part in the event: Catherine Breillat, Antoine De Caunes, Alain Cavalier, Claire Denis, Léa Fehner, Tony Gatlif, Costa Gavras, Francis Huster, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Christophe Honoré, Philippe Lioret, Radu Mihaileanu, Gaspar Noé, François Ozon, and Danièle Thompson.
The actors and actresses present included Kristin Scott Thomas, Sophie Marceau, Niels Arestrup, Sabine Azéma, Josiane Balasko, Jeanne Balibar, Jane Birkin, Guillaume Canet, François Cluzet, Romain Duris, André Dussollier, Catherine Frot, Marina Hands, Sandrine Kiberlain, Christophe Lambert, Mélanie Laurent, Vincent Lindon, Yolande Moreau, Anna Mouglalis, Vincent Perez, Aure Atika, and Marilou Berry.
Around thirty of these artists took part in a photo shoot for a portrait composition that will appear in the March issue of Studio Ciné Live magazine, and will also be presented in a traveling exhibition.
