Over the next four days you catch watch short videos to find out what's going on behind the scenes at the 21st Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in Paris, organized by UniFrance—the world's biggest event dedicated to French cinema. For its first day, UniFrance celebrated the achievements of the directing duo Toledano/Nakache by honoring them with a French Cinema Award. This was followed by the opening of the French Film Market, with a preview screening held in the evening of Serial Bad Weddings 2, in the presence of Philippe de Chauveron, among others. The second day of the Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in Paris saw the opening of the annual press junket that will continue until Monday, bringing together 120 French artists and over 100 international journalists. Among the many actors and directors already present are Jean-Pierre Bacri, Laetitia Casta, Reda Kateb, Pierre Niney, Thomas Solivérès, and the young newcomer Nathan Ambrosioni, the 18-year-old director who has come to meet with his very first international distributors!

French Cinema Confidential 2019: Day 3 / French Cinema Confidential 2019 - Jour 3
For this third day of the Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in Paris, we go backstage at the press junket to meet with Melvil Poupaud, Yolande Moreau, Marthe Keller, Pierre Deladonchamps, Houda Benyamina, and Louis Garrel (among the thirty or so artists on board for Day 3). Then we take a tour of the Film Market on its final day, before giving a short recap of the opening ceremony of the 9th edition of MyFrenchFilmFestival.com held the previous night. In the evening, we head off to Radio France for a special program of concerts dedicated to film music presented by Bertrand Tavernier and the conductor Philippe Bérand. Let it roll!

The fourth and final day of the 21st Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in Paris kicked off with a roundtable on "Theaters, Digital and Blockchain Technology: The Best Tools for Boosting the Export of French Films." We continued with a visit backstage at the hotel, where we rubbed shoulders with Vincent Lacoste, Nora Hamzawi, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Vincent Cassel, Vincent Macaigne, and Laurent Lafitte, some of the many actors and directors who took part in the final hours of this year's international press junket. A big thank you to everyone, and we'll see you next year!

It's the second day of the 20th Rendez-Vous with French Cinema in Paris! Find out all about the Film Market and how the latest films directed by Sophie Marceau and Catherine Corsini are attracting buyers. The annual press junket is back this year with a host of film directors meeting with the media at the Grand Hôtel (including Xavier Beauvois, Philippe Le Guay, and Hubert Charuel, among around thirty others), as well as actors... who embraced (Mathieu Amalric and Léa Drucker), just like in a scene from a film that is yet to be written. And behind the scenes hovers the spirit of a certain "French Touch"... with the day ending with the customary party hosted by UniFrance, featuring Busy P wowing us with his DJ skills. So, let's hit the dance floor!
