UniFrance films will host the 16th Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Paris in January 2014, an annual meeting that has cemented its position as a key event on the movie industry calendar.
The Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Paris, also known as the January Film Meetings, have established themselves as a not-to-be-missed annual event for European distributors and journalists, effectively marking the start of the international film festival and market season.
From January 10 through 13, 2014, distributors from 50 countries in Europe, South America, and Quebec will be invited to view 110 French films, including 52 world premieres. The event will open with a screening of Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart, an animated film by Mathias Malzieu and Stéphane Berla.
From January 17 through 20, journalists from Europe, Israel, and Quebec will be the center of attention, meeting with French actors and directors from films scheduled for release in their respective countries between February and June, 2014. This event is the world's largest press junket, during which around 1,000 interviews will be held.
