Considered one of North America's leading short-format event, Palm Springs International ShortFest, held from June 24 to 30 in the Californian city, owes its reputation to a cutting-edge, daring, and entertaining selection. Dramas, hilarious comedies, documentaries, and animated stories come together in a spectrum of themes accessible to all. Competitive, it is a gateway to the Oscars, BAFTAs, and Goyas..
The 2025 selection brings together over 300 films from some sixty countries. While the United States leads the way in terms of the number of films programmed, France proudly occupies second place with 28 titles spread across the different strands.
