🏆 Awards for French short films 🏆
➡️ A French short awarded at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)
- To the Woods by Agnès Patron received the Best Animated Short Film Award.
➡️ Awards at the Ottawa International Animation Festival
- Il Burattino e la balena by Roberto Catani won the Grand Prize for Short Animation.
It was accompanied by a fine duo of awards:
- S the Wolf by Sameh Alaa won Best Script as well as the Audience Award
- Autokar by Sylwia Szkiłądź won Best Short Animation for Teen Audiences (+13 ans).
➡️ Two awards at the Festival du film français d'Helvétie (FFFH)
- Pentest by Benjamin Chevallier and Tristan Lhomme received the Prix Découverte Bonhôte
- Accalmie by Martin Geisler received the Prix Forum du Bilinguisme.
➡️ French works scored top honors at the Minikino Film Week in Bali
- Best Short Film of the Year: Montsouris Park by Guil Sela
- Best Animation Short: S the Wolf by Sameh Alaa
- Best Documentary Short: Their Eyes by Nicolas Gourault
- Best Children Short: A King Without a Crown by Olivier Bayu Gandrille
- Best Fiction Short: Bleu Heart by Samuel Suffren.
✈️ The following people received travel funding ✈️
- Gabrielle Stemmer went to present her film The Strike (produced by Blue Monday Productions) at the San Sebastián International Film Festival in Spain. An experience she was able to share with her crew: "It was a big festival, very well organized, and I particularly liked the theater where my film was screened because the conditions were very good. The Q&A was well run and the festival had arranged for an interpreter for me. I regretted not having more time to talk to the audience after the screening, it was a bit frustrating not to get more feedback!"
- Kyrylo Zemlyanyi presented her short film Unavailable in the Orrizzonti Competion at the Venice International Film Festival : “My trip to Venice for the film festival was a great opportunity: I was able to reach a wide and varied audience, I met many professionals from around the world, and I left with renewed energy to tackle my future projects.”

🇮🇹 At the Venice International Film Festival, four short films were presented in the Orizzonti Competition, and Rachid Bouchareb's short film Boomerang Atomic was presented Out of Competition, as was Alice Diop's short film Fragments for Venus, commissioned by the fashion house Miu Miu.
