Céline Sallette

A beauty with pre-war looks and a very wide spectrum
of roles to play. She is the young rising star that French cinema cannot do without.
She began her career on stage. She got her first part in the film Meurtrières by Patrick Grandperret in 2005, just after having finished her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’art dramatique (National Drama School). She then was offered a series of roles, finding herself at times in four films a year.
Among her most noticeable films: Marie-Antoinette by Sofia Coppola, The Great Alibi by Pascal Bonitzer, Hereafter by Clint Eastwood, That Summer by Philippe Garrel, House of Tolerance by Bertrand Bonello, Rust and Bone by Jacques Audiard, Capital by Costa-Gavras, A Castle in Italy by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi. She will soon appear in Vie sauvage by Cédric Kahn and La French
    by Cédric Jimenez.
