The two major festivals after the summer season, TIFF and the Venice International Film Festival, account for the main part of the trips made by French artists around the world in the first two weeks of September. Globetrotter Olivier Assayas gets a special mention, for he has traveled successively to Telluride, Toronto, and Venice to present Non-Fiction, and will soon go to San Sebastian.
