⚡'The Electric Kiss' ('La Vénus électrique') marks Pierre Salvadori's return to period romantic comedy, combining whimsical deception with emotional depth. Set in Paris in 1928, the film follows Antoine, a grieving painter who has lost both his wife and his creative inspiration. His desperate attempt to contact her leads him to Suzanne, a carnival worker who pretends to be a psychic. As their staged séances restore Antoine's artistic drive, Suzanne finds herself caught between fraud and genuine love.
