Let's get together at the 18th Berlin French Film Week

From November 28 through December 4 and for the 18th year, the Institut Français and UniFrance invite the German capital to celebrate French films with a Berlin French Film Week full of events and guests.

This year, 18 French films will be presented to Berlin audiences at premiere screenings, in seven different screening venues. The festival works hand in hand with distributors to ensure the event's promotion. It is is once again an opportunity to showcase the richness and diversity of French cinema, which is particularly appreciated across the Rhine.

A dozen French and French-speaking directors and actors will be present to accompany their films and meet moviegoers.

The delegation

Sink or Swim by Gilles Lellouche opened the festival this year and the director and a member of the cast, Félix Moati, were present on November 28 at the Kino International. A week later, two films will be presented at the closing night at the Cinéma Paris: Photo de famille, in the presence of the film's director Cécilia Rouaud, followed by The Trouble with You by Pierre Salvadori, in the presence of Adèle Haenel.

The selection

As part of the program of the Institut Français, and for the first time, a selection of children's films (features and shorts) will be proposed. A selection of documentaries and a series (Deutsch-les-Landes) completes the program, which can be downloaded below.
