The 70th BFI London Film Festival will take place from October 8 to 19. A very substantial selection of French films and French co-productions will be presented across the many strands that make up the United Kingdom’s largest film festival.
The French artistic delegation for majority-French films will consist of Virginie Efira for All of a Sudden, Marine Atlan and Suzanne Gerin for La Gradiva, Arthur Harari for The Unknown, Sarah Arnold for Too Many Beasts, Alain Gomis for Dao, Leyla Bouzid and Eya Bouteraa for In a Whisper, Ana Vaz for Hanabi, and Auguste Bernard Kouemo Yanghu for House of the Wind.
Unifrance's presence at the BFI London Film Festival
Unifrance, in keeping with tradition, will be present at the 2026 edition by supporting artists’ attendance in the British capital, as well as through two professional matchmaking sessions:
On October 8, the traditional Buyers & Sellers Day, during which a large delegation of French exporters will have the opportunity to meet with British buyers through a tried-and-true speed-dating format.

On October 9, the 4th edition of the meeting between French and British producers will take place as part of the New Waves program, in partnership with the CNC, the British Film Institute (BFI), Institut Français - United Kingdom, and Unifrance.
Representatives from the following companies will be in attendance: 24 25 Films, Apaches, Barberousse Films, Cinenovo, ÉlianeAntoinette, Léonis Productions, Les films du Bélier, Les Valseurs, Maneki Films, Petites Poupées Production, Récifilms, and Same Player. These twelve French production companies will have the opportunity to present their activities and projects to British companies active in the film and audiovisual sector.
