Around the World: January 2018

Around thirty French artists traveled around the globe in January to take part in a variety of events including the Rotterdam International Film Festival, the Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, and the New York Jewish Film Festival, which opened with a screening of Razzia held in the presence of Nabil Ayouch (photo). And that's not to mention the launch of 15 French films in theaters abroad accompanied by their directors and leading cast members.

Release of Amant double in the USA (Cohen Media Group): François Ozon & Marine Vacth were in New York from January 24 to 26.
Release of Sens de la fête in Spain (A Contracorriente Films): Franck Nakache and Éric Toledano were in Madrid and Barcelona from January 23 to 24.
Release of Maria by Callas in Greece (Filmtrade): Tom Volf was in Athens from January 9 to 12 to take part in several preview screenings.
Release of A Season in France in the The Netherlands (Imagine): Mahamat-Saleh Haroun was present for the film's commercial release and at the Rotterdam Film Festival on January 27 and 28.

Release of Château in Cameroon (Canal Olympia): Modi Barry was in Yaoundé and Douala from January 16 to 21 for the film's presentation at the Institut Français + preview screenings.
Release of La Ch'tite Famille in Switzerland (Pathé Films): Dany Boon, Guy Lecluyse, Laurence Arné & Valérie Bonneton were in Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, and Fribourg from January 18 to 20.
Release of Les Tuche 3, liberté, égalite, fraternituche in Belgium (Alternative Films): Isabelle Nanty, Olivier Baroux, Sarah Stern & Pierre Lottin were in Brussels on January 22.
Release of Everyday Heroes in Spain (Film Buro): Anne-Dauphine Julliand was in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia from January 29 to February 2.
