Between mid-October and the end of November, 245 short French films (or French coproductions) lit up the screens of 17 international film festivals with which UniFrance collaborates.
In Greece, the USA, Brazil, Germany, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Canada, and Italy, 30 films were honored with 41 awards. Among them let us mention the debut film by Léopold Kraus, Speck of Dust (photo), presented for the first time in the USA where it won a Hollywood Silver Screen Prize and also received the prestigious Global Grand Jury Prize.

Initiative Subsidies (November 27 session)
Implemented in 2018, this new funding exclusively concerns the specific activities undertaken to encourage the distribution and exhibiting of a short film or a program of short films abroad. For example: theatrical distribution, a presentation at a specific event in a festival or a museum, exhibiting via a platform, or any other initiative of a sort that will enhance and highlight the excellence of French short film production.
