L'Alternativa, Barcelona Independent Film Festival has dedicated the last 15 years to creating a platform for the promotion and distribution of films, which for their innovative character, are unable to find a way into main exhibition and distribution circuits. As well as the international competition, the festival screens retrospectives, work from international film schools, offers a free screen and organises workshops, round tables, concerts and parties.
