Complete filmography
BiographyMember of the Child Choir of the National Opera House, Pascal Greggory takes drama class and enters the National Drama Academy. He plays small parts both on stage and on screen. In the 70’, Pascal Greggory meets André Téchiné who casts him in The Bronte Sisters (1979) and Eric Rohmer with whom he works on The Good Marriage (1982), Pauline at the Beach (1983) and The Tree, the Mayor and the Mediatheque (1993). Patrice Chéreau’s fetish actor, he works with him on stage before Chéreau casts him in Queen Margot that wins him his first nomination for a César Award. This is the beginning of a fruitful collaboration on screen leading to Those Who Love Me Will Take the Train (1998) or His Brother (2003). Mostly attracted by arthouse cinema, Pascal Greggory appears in Raoul Ruiz’s Time Regained (1999), Andrej Zulawski’s Fidelity (2000), Ilan Duran Cohen’s Confusion of Genders (2000), Olivier Dahan’s The Promised Life (2002) or Jacques Doillon’s Raja (2003). In 2005, he reunites with Patrice Chéreau again with Gabrielle alongside Isabelle Huppert.
