The 36th edition of IDFA, the world's leading documentary festival and international co-production market, takes place from November 8 through 19 in Amsterdam.
In the Year of the Documentary, France is once again very well represented, with a record 45 French productions and co-productions out of a total of 300 films presented.
The professional section, which includes a co-production market, numerous networking activities and the presentation of projects in development, will take place from November 10 through 16.
For its part, Unifrance will be supporting French professionals and films as it does every year, with a range of specific assistance mechanisms, such as the AIP for professionals, travel grants for directors in partnership with the Scam, and the listing of all French productions and co-productions via a dematerialized brochure.
Unifrance is also planning a networking event with its traditional cocktail reception, in partnership with Scam and La Région Grand Est, to be held on Sunday November 12.
A Unifrance delegation will be on hand from November 11 to 14.
