The 13th edition of Séries Mania will take place in Lille from March 17 through 24, 2023. On this occasion, the public is invited to discover a rich selection of 54 new series from 24 countries, including 32 world premieres.
After a 2022 edition notable for a large number of French works, 2023 further underlines this dynamic with 17 French titles presented across all of the festival's sections. Once again this year, Unifrance will be present and active at this major event of the world audiovisual industry.
Séries Mania remains a must-attend event for both series fans and industry professionals. The Series Mania Forum, the "industry" segment of the festival, which welcomed no less than 3,300 accredited guests in 2022, will take place this year from March 21 to 23 and will close with the Lille Dialogues (March 24).
French works widely represented in the program
In 2023, French creations are again particularly well represented in the program, with 17 French works (a figure similar to 2022) across all the festival's strands: International Competition, French Competition, Comedy Competition, Short Forms Competition, New Season Premieres.
For the second consecutive year, the festival will open with a French series: Salade grecque(Prime Video), created and directed by Cédric Klapisch.
A revised Unifrance setup at the Series Mania Forum
Unifrance will partner the Welcome Drinks, the professional meeting's opening cocktail reception, with a mostly international audience.

Unifrance highlights the French selection through video interviews
To promote the French presence, which is once again exceptional this year, Unifrance will be present at the festival to talk with the artistic teams of the French series in selection: actors, writers, directors, showrunners...
These short videos, aimed at the general public, will be broadcast on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok, throughout the festival.
