For its 37th edition, which will take place from October 28 through November 4 in Germany, the Tübingen | Stuttgart International French-language Film Festival (better known as the Filmtage), devoted to French-language cinema, will be presented online for the first time, accompanied by some physical screenings.
This year, a competition, panorama, retrospective of films by Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern, and a homage to Agnès Varda and Michel Piccoli are on the programme of an edition that will also focus on French-speaking Africa through its film production. In addition to the cities of Tübingen and Stuttgart, the festival will be relocating for screenings in Rottenburg and Reutlingen.
And as is the case every year, the German distributor of the film that wins the Audience Award will receive the UniFrance / MFG Baden-Württemberg / Franco-German Youth Office Distribution Aid Award to support the title's theatrical release.
