    Grégoire Leprince Ringuet begins as a singer in the choir of the Opera of Paris, and distinguishes himself on stage notably in Woyzeck directed by Patrice Chéreau. Spotted by André Téchiné, he lands his first part in the cinema in Strayed. His performance is rewarded by a nomination to the Césars in the category Best Young Masculine Hopeful. While continuing to act in front of the camera, he pursues his career on stage as well as his literary studies. Henceforth considered as one of the rising values of French cinema, he shoots with Nicole Garcia and Bertrand Tavernier. Christophe Honoré highlights his sensitive appearance on two occasions in Love Songs and The Beautiful Person.
