For the second year running, the Göteborg International Film Festival along with Unifrance and the French Embassy in Sweden presented a “French Selection” at the event, held from January 26 through February 5. Once again, the program met with an enthusiastic response.

After a successful trial event held at the 2005 Stockholm International Film Festival, the "French Selection," a program aiming to throw the spotlight on French productions and co-productions, has since traveled to Scandinavian international film festivals in Göteborg, Haugesund, Copenhagen, and Helsinki.
