Philippe Garrel, Rithy Panh, and the duo Gustave Kervern & Benoît Delépine will represent France in the Competition section at the 70th Berlinale, which will take place from February 20 through March 1. UniFrance will be present at the European Film Market.
Apart from the Competition, the 70th edition will showcase the world premiere of Anne Fontaine's latest film (Night Shift), selected for the Berlinale Special strand, and those of Guillaume Brac (All Hands on Deck), Sébastien Lifshitz (Little Girl), and Patric Chiha (If It Were Love) in Panorama. Génération Kplus will present Cuties by Maïmouna Doucouré.
Market
This year, UniFrance will host under its umbrella 12 French film exporters among those present at the European Film Market (EFM), one of the most important film markets in Europe, which runs alongside the Berlinale:
