The website Cartoonbrew.com has published a (non-official) list of the 92 animated short films from around the world that are currently candidates for the Oscars 2020. With 23 French titles included in the list, France has the second highest number of eligible films after the United States.
Of the 23 eligible films (for which Cartoonbrew specifies in each case the relevant eligibility criteria, such as awards at film festivals or release in the USA), 15 titles can be viewed in the UniFrance Short Film Gallery, which is made accessible to UniFrance members.

A short list of 10 titles will be announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) before the end of the year, prior to the announcement in January 2020 of the six official nominees.
We can note that at the Oscars 2019, two French animated shorts made it into the final nominee list: Garden Party and Negative Space.
