Presentation of the 2015 edition
This year, the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Unifrance are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Rendez-Vous With French Cinema à New York, with Martin Scorsese and Nathalie Baye appointed as festival co-chairs.
"Twenty years is a fitting anniversary to celebrate French cinema and its love affair with New York, a city which has inspired so many directors, and which has always reserved a warm welcome for French films," said Isabelle Giordano, executive director of Unifrance. "We are thrilled to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Rendez-Vous with French Cinema with our partners at UniFrance films," declared Florence Almozini, Film Society of Lincoln Center's Senior Programmer, with "an exciting lineup, including a focus on New French Noirs, in the great tradition of Jean-Pierre Melville and Claude Chabrol [...], that will prove the vitality of the genre and introduce audiences to new talent."
This anniversary edition of the Rendez-Vous with French Cinema Today enjoys the patronage of Martin Scorsese, and is co-chaired by Nathalie Baye.
