Biography
After studying both business (London School of Economics) and cinema, and spending a couple of years in banks and auditing firms, Gregoire Melin joined Gaumont’s international sales team where he worked on so prestige international successes as The Dinner Game, Vatel and The Crimson Rivers. Luc Besson and Pierre-Ange le Pogam embark him to create EuropaCorp as head of international sales, working on more than 50 films and consequent international sales. He then founded Kinology in May 2008, an international sales boutique focusing on a handful of high-scale motion pictures every year, teaming up with high-profile producers. The focus is on new and innovative marketing techniques, and once in a while, he is also producing to fuel Kinology’s lineup with tailor-made products for the international markets (Buried, Cosmopolis, Mune, Overdrive, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, Annette, Mustang, Spring Breakers, only to name a few).
