Mother
Synopsis
Mother is the possible story of the 38 years old Agnes before she becomes the Mother Teresa we all know. This is a chamber film, set in a span of seven days in 1948 Kolkata. While the Bengali famine rages outside the convents walls, the three main characters, Mother superior, a nun Agnieska and Mothers confessor and a priest Father Friedrich are forced to deal with the existential questions of life, love and survival.
