Rich selection of French films at Rotterdam

The 45th Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR) will take place from January 27 through February 7, 2016, this year showcasing a broad spectrum of current French productions in its various sections, with 14 features and 9 shorts selected.

The Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR), which was founded in 1972, has established itself over the years as a major talent spotting platform, uncovering innovative and sometimes groundbreaking explorations in current world filmmaking.

Now an essential date on the European festival calendar, the event offers a large number of sections, including two competitive selections, Bright Future and Voices.

This year the directors Pascale Breton, Eva Husson, Philippe Grandrieux, Leyla Bouzid, Lamine Ammar-Khodja, Caroline Champetier, Yves Montmayeur, Mikhaël Hers, Léa Fehner, and Maud Alpi will be in attendance to accompany their films, along with the actors Ariane Labed and Paul Hamy.
