In the middle of summer, thirty-year-old Sasha suddenly dies.
Although they don't know each other well, his companion Lawrence and his sister Zoé grow closer. They share, as best they can, the sorrow and the burden of her absence, between Berlin, Paris, and New York.
Three summers, three cities, the time it takes for light to shine again, carried along by the memory of the person they both loved.

About
LE NOUVEL OBSERVATEUR
The film has a rare delicacy, which has even been imprinted on the film itself.
SUD OUEST
A filmmaker has probably never before dealt with absence with this level of delicacy.
CAHIERS DU CINEMA
Mikhaël Hers works with subtle material, and the house of emotional cards that he constructs holds up purely through the meticulousness of his gesture.
LES INROCKS
Yes, it is a very gentle film, but gentle like the summer waves that nevertheless end up eroding the rock. Without resorting to violence, Mikhaël Hers nevertheless reveals to us our infinite sadness, a flow of emotions that have come from who knows where, if not perhaps from out of the past.
THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
A fitting lead performance anchors this otherwise fleeting French indie.
