Synopsis
Pierre Boulez, the composer, conductor and theorist of the 20th century, spoke with critic Claude Gayman in a very rare, filmed interview in 2005. On the occasion of the birth of this major figure of the 20th century, this film sheds unique light on all the great names in post-war music, Pierre Boulez’s artistic alliances, and his companions along the way.
