Synopsis
This film is inspired by the cult of purgatory in Naples. It is a wandering made up of encounters, sacred places, lived experiences, accounts, and dreams, an immersion in the questioning arising from this cult: we must know that we have lived.
The soul of purgatory is an inhabitant of this world. The anonymous dead, who appears in dreams and hence wanders among the living; the unknown person encountered in a crowd, the gaze of the defunct immortalized in a photograph. The Other.
One of the others, each of us. I am an inhabitant of this world. I am one of the others.
