For the first time, after three years of existence, the GCPLL (General Inspector of All Places of Loss of Liberty) accepts that a film crew follows this independent French body carry out its meticulous work, essential to the control of fundamental rights in prisons, psychiatric hospitals, and police stations. Stéphane Mercurio followed fifteen inspectors. Their places of mission: the women's prison in Versailles, Evreux psychiatric hospital, Centrale on the Ile de Ré, and lastly the brand new prison in Bourg-en-Bresse.
