A Feature film by Eran Riklis

Release in France : 04/07/2012

1982. Max Stoller, an Israeli of German origin, is a basketball coach who has become a genuine legend in Israel.
Constantly searching for new challenges, he accepts to take charge of the West German national team with the aim of getting it into the world championship in Los Angeles.
But Max not only has to train unmotivated players, who have no desire to change their habits, but he also has to cope with attacks from the Israeli press, which considers him a traitor.
This does not, however, stop him from pursuing his mission, no matter the cost. For Max has another reason for being in West Germany: he wants to find the traces of his childhood that war brutally interrupted one day in 1943.
During his quest, he encounters a young woman of Turkish origin who lives in the apartment he once lived in with his parents forty years earlier. Finding himself reflected in her, he becomes friends with this woman uprooted from her own land and decides to help her.
