Synopsis
Zaytoun is the story of an unexpected encounter between a 12-year-old Palestinian refugee and Israeli fighter pilot, whose plane is shot down above Beirut in 1982. Their initial mutual distrust turns into friendship when they cross Lebanon together, a country torn apart by war, during a journey to a land that they both consider belongs to them alone.
