Synopsis
Iyad has grown up in an Arab town in Israel. When he turns 16, he becomes a student at a prestigious Jewish boarding school in Jerusalem. He is the first and only Arab to be allowed to attend the school. He is slowly accepted by his classmates, but makes only one true friend, Yonaton, a boy suffering from an hereditary disease. Iyad forms close bonds with Yonatan's family, bringing courage and strength to Edna, Yonatan's mother.
He quickly becomes the family's second son...
