Leaving
Synopsis
Forty-year-old Suzanne is forty, a doctor's wife, with children. She lives in the south of France, but the bourgeois idleness of her life weighs upon her. She therefore decides to take up the physiotherapy work she'd abandoned in order to raise the children, and persuades her husband to help her to set up a surgery. During the renovations, she encounters Ivan, who is in charge of the building works and who has passed his life going from job to job and has spent time in prison. Their mutual attraction is immediate and violent, and Suzanne decides to leave everything behind in order to live this all-consuming passion.
