Synopsis
”Life is an impending drop” is a documentary tale inspired by the relationship between Hormuz and Christian, a former philosophy teacher turned “diabetic actor”. Diabetes shapes his relationship to the world, marked by real solitude and a feeling of utter abandonment. Thanks to the camera, which becomes an irreplaceable conversation partner whose role is constantly questioned, the beginning of a genuine friendship develops in Christian’s world. This character is revealed to be sensitive to words and painting, and in love with the beauty of the young girls he meets and who nourish his existential fondness. The burlesque and tragic through-line is punctuated by scenes of seduction in a life never won, where discretion and poetry mix.
