Weekend BreakDirected by Patrick Alessandrin Produced by EuropaCorp Genres : Fiction - Runtime : 1 h 35 min French release : 18/04/2001 Production year : 2000
DirectorActorsSynopsisMax, Raoul and Vincent's wifes, who are the best of friends in the world, rent a house in La Baule to spend the weekend of the 15t of August with their husbands and children. But when Max, Raoul and Vincent reach the house, they vanished, just leaving them a small note saying: "We have decided that we deserved some real holidays now. The fridge is empty and the children are asleep - for the moment." Max, Raoul and Vincent suddenly realize that the weekend won't be holidays for everybody. And what life really is when women have gone. All the more so when children prove to be much more adult than their fathers. Only Julie, 16 years old, Max's stepdaughter, seems to enjoy the situation and shows solidarity with the women, hoping they're going to have fun: "To my point of view the question is not where they left, but why ?" From where to why, Max, Raoul and Vincent are going to look for their answers. But their wives' absence will reveal a presence that they hadn't thought about at all: theirs. Production photos (8)
