Spotlight on the 9th Yokohama French Film Festival, to be held from June 20 through 24, this year presided by Nathalie Baye.
Credited in two of the films presented at the festival - "Barnie et ses petites contrariétés" and "To Mathieu" - Nathalie Baye joins a sizeable delegation of French artists and movie professionals accompanying the films selected this year. The following feature films are to be presented:

* "Barnie et ses petites contrariétés", attended by the director, Bruno Chiche, and actresses Nathalie Baye and Marie Gillain.
* "Carrément à l'Ouest", attended by the director, Jacques Doillon, along with cast members Lou Doillon, Caroline Ducey and Guillaume Saurel.
* "La Chambre des officiers", attended by the director, François Dupeyron, as well as Eric Caravaca.
* "Confusion of Genders", attended by the director, Ilan Duran Cohen, and cast members Pascal Greggory, Nathalie Richard and Vincent Martinez.
* "Lisa", attended by the director, Pierre Grimblat, along with the actor Benoît Magimel (winner of the Best Actor award at Cannes 2001).
* "Mademoiselle", attended by the director, Philippe Lioret, along with Jacques Gamblin.
* "Martha, Martha", attended by the director, Sandrine Veysset, along with Yann Goven and Valérie Donzelli.
* "Mercredi, folle journée", attended by the director, Pascal Thomas, along with the film's young actress, Victoria Lafaurie.
* "Mortal Transfer", attended by the director, Jean-Jacques Beineix.
* "The Closet", attended by the director, Francis Veber.
* "Les Portes de la gloire", attended by the director, Christian Merret-Palmair, along with the actor Yvon Back.
* "Replay", attended by the director, Catherine Corsini, and actress Emmanuelle Béart.
* "Roberto Succo", attended by the director, Cédric Kahn, and actors Stefano Cassetti and Isild Le Besco.
* "The King is Dancing", attended by the director, Gérard Corbiau, and actors Benoît Magimel and Boris Terral.
* "To Mathieu", attended by the director, Xavier Beauvois, and the film's leads Benoît Magimel and Nathalie Baye.
* "Night Shift", attended by the director, Philippe Le Guay, and actors Marc Barbé and Gérald Laroche.
* "A Crime in Paradise", attended by the director, Jean Becker.
* "Would I Lie To You? 2", attended by the director, Thomas Gilou, and cast members Gad Elmaleh and Aure Atika.
The following short films will be presented at the festival:
* "La Véritable Histoire du Titanic", attended by the director, Julien Reininger.
* "Des morceaux de ma femme", attended by the producer/director Frédéric Pelle (Bianca Films).
* "La pomme, la figue et l'amande" by Joël Brisse.
* "Je ne comprends pas" by Agnès de Sacy.
* "Le Tombeur" by Bruno Merle and Olivier Abbou.
* "Et frères" by Eric Guirado.

This year, the festival will also be hosting a tribute to the filmmaker Agnès Varda, who will be in Yokohama for the event. And, for the first time, a film market will be held on the spot to coincide with the festival.
And finally, from June 25 through 29, the 1st Seoul French Film Festival will present a selection of 12 feature films along with a screening of 6 short films.
